MedStar Southern Maryland Hospital Center, Inc.is actively recruiting for aRegistered Nursefor the Surgical Services department. The position will fulfill the needs of the patients, families, and community by performing a variety of patient care functions and tasks in accordance with his/her licensure, certification, training and regulatory requirements. The RN must respond effectively to new and changing work assignments and have excellent patient assessment skills.
Requirements:
One year minimum of OR experience
One year minimum of critical care, telemetry, or emergency room experience
ACLS certified preferred
Current RN Maryland License
BSN preferred
Must be willing to work rotating shifts, including one weekday evening and night call, and one weekend for 24 hours.
Must have experienced OR Rn in all specialities and willing to take call
