Job Description:
o The Logistics Support Specialist / Technician will be primarily responsible for receiving, stocking, issuing and inventorying aircraft LRU's, consumables and support equipment.
o Inspection and verification of material received to ensure the correct certification paperwork is included with the material.
o Accomplish required paperwork and entry of information into an inventory software programKnow how to research parts and material using government, military and commercial technical orders and publications.
o Audit configuration of selected LRU's and update databaseBe able to package and crate material for shipment.
o Coordinate shipment of outgoing material with transportation vendors.
o Occasional overtime along with dayshift, swing shift and rotating on-call for nights and weekends are requiredJob Qualification Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experienceGraduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experienceIn lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior related experience.
o 4
years of logistics / warehouse and vehicle/AGE experience.
o Working knowledge of a warehouse to include Periodic inventory, Hazmat inventory control regulations/warehousing, Equipment calibration program, Bench stock program and MSK program.
o Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Top Secret (SCI) security clearance, which requires U.
SCitizenship.
o Ability to obtain a forklift license.
o Physical ability to lift 50 poundsPreferred Additional Skills:
o Experience in a military environment and use of military Vehicle Maintenance Formso BSI and M3 database experienceo FedEx software knowledgeo EESOH-MIS Hazmat software experience Recommended Skills Customer Service Administration Involve Administration Perform Causative Analysis Contact Shipper Prepare Logistic Documentation Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
